Welcome, welcome, welcome!

   Hello I'm Winifred,
Welcome to My Hiding Place. :) I hope to share more about myself and interests in upcoming posts. To kick off my first *real* blog I'm doing the Chocolate Book Tag. I LOVE to read and I will soon be posting a list of favorite books.
So, without further ado...

1. Dark Chocolate (a book that covers a dark topic).
Herodotus. While most history/omnibus students fear this book because of rabbit trails, ramblings, historical footnotes and thickness, it is actually an interesting book with a lot of gory detail.

2. White Chocolate (a light-hearted and humorous read)
Polyanna, Tom Sawyer, and No Talking (andrew clements).

3. Milk Chocolate (a book with a lot of hype that you're dying to read)
The Mazerunner!

4. Caramel-filled Chocolate (a book that made you feel all gooey inside)
An Old-Fashioned Girl by Louisa May Alcott <3

5. Wafer-less Kit-Kat (a book that surprised you)
Good surprise: Percy Jackson series
Not-what-I-thought-surprise: Eragon

6. Snickers (a book you're going nuts about)
The Book Thief! Prepare the tissue box..........

7. Hot Chocolate with Mini-Marshmallows (a book you turn to for comfort)
Old children's chapter books that were my favorite when younger.
The Sword in the Tree, Frindle, The Year of Ms. Agnes,
OH
and of course, The Chronicles of Narnia! :)

8. A Box of Chocolates (a series you feel has something for everyone)
The Mysterious Benedict Society, Chronicles of Narnia, Redwall, The Ranger's Apprentice, *takes deep breath* aaaaand so many more. XD

I nominate Sarah from Confessions of a Bibliophile.
Looking forward to blogging with you!
